Services
Concept and
Feasibility Studies
Not sure if what you want to achieve is viable? Our first step with any new project is to carry out desktop research into overall feasibility and give you honest feedback on our findings. In many cases this is something that we are able to include in our free initial enquiry process, but if the site is complex we can also produce more formal Feasibility Studies and assist you in making Pre-Application Enquiries to the local council, which can be helpful options for exploring ideas whilst keeping cost and risk to a minimum. We can undertake these at any scale, whether it is the feasibility of an extension or an entire housing estate with a Master Planning strategy. Whatever the project, we will work with you to develop a concept and brief that is deliverable and meets your needs.
3D Visualisation
Within CAAD we retain licences in the Latest 3D software's to allow you to see your proposals in full with the latest 3-dimensional design and rendering software. We can create photo realistic renders to help you visualise your projects. We can also produce walk throughs of your project in real time with flythroughs and virtual reality! If you find it difficult to visualise 2 dimensional drawings then we can help.

We work closely with a number of local reliable consultants (Structural Engineers, Civil Engineers, Thermal SAP/SBEM assessors, Fire Engineers, Quantity Surveyors etc.) to get your project underway.
Master Planning
For any large development, master planning is a key part of creating a coherent route map in order to successfully deliver on the final scheme. There are a number of elements to consider, not just costs and timescales but choices in scale, proportion, materials, spatial relationships, and environmental enhancements to ensure the development works within a wider setting.
At CAAD Ltd we have experience in large land developments/regeneration projects. Our team has experience with large housing scheme, industrial parks and much more.
Planning
Applications
Most new development in the UK requires Planning Permission, and there is a formal application process that needs to be followed to obtain this. CAAD Ltd have a strong working relationship with all our local councils and the expertise to help you select the right type of form and documents, which we can submit on your behalf. If you choose us as your planning agent we will also monitor the application while it's with the council and liaise with your case officer to answer any questions that may come up. Whilst we can't guarantee the final decision, we will always do everything possible to give you the best chance of a positive outcome.
Insurance Works
CAAD have a wealth of experience working on insurance claim related project, whether that be on behalf of the building owner, insurance company or project manager. We produce drawing packages and specification to return/replace buildings to their former state.
Architectural Design & Development Proposals
We very much consider this to be our speciality, whether we are designing from scratch, working with client sketches, or developing a construction proposal. We will work with you and involve you in each stage of the project as the design evolves. Although we will often suggest solutions based on your brief, we respect your views and will do our best to realise your wishes within the restrictions of the site. We will work through initial sketches and then formal drawings that are generated electronically and can be emailed between us as the scheme develops.
Heritage
Restorations
Hampshire and the South Coast has an abundance of Listed buildings, and buildings situated within Conservation Areas. We have team members here at CAAD which specialise in Historic Building Conservation and have accreditations with the Institute of Historic Building Conservation (IHBC). We work closely with the Conservation Officer Liasson Group (COLG) and are also have a team member on the Board of Trustees for Hampshire Buildings Preservation Trust ((HBPT) an organisation set up by Hampshire County Council).
